Other Ministries at All Saints
Acolytes are assigned to serve at the Altar on Sundays and during other worship services.
The Altar Guild prepares the altar, sanctuary, and vestments for all church services, including weddings and funerals, and meets the first Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM beginning with Mass.
Lay Eucharistic Visitors:
Lay Eucharistic Visitors are parishioners who are trained and licensed to minister the sacrament of Holy Communion to the housebound and the sick.
Lay Readers and Chalice Bearers:
Lay Readers are parishioners who are trained and licensed to assist with reading Holy Scripture and other parts of the Liturgy as asked by the Priest for services on Sundays and weekdays. Chalice Bearers, also called Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEM), are selected from the body of Lay Readers.
Third Saturday Outreach Meal:
The Third Saturday Outreach meal meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month. All Saints hosts a meal for the homeless and poor in our community. Volunteers may choose the early shift, which involves cooking and set-up (8:30 -11:00 AM) or the later shift, which involves serving and clean-up (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM), or any part therein.
